We have 2 friends from Iran - you and our friend in Munich, Mithra. I know that you usually refer to yourself as Iranian, but Mithra always calls herself Persian (she also hates when we say I-ran and corrects us to say Ee-rAAn). <BR/><BR/>I wonder if there is a class or cultural difference within the society? Her dad was the director of the Tehran Opera before they fled the country to Germany... maybe it's some kind of cultural reference? Or maybe because she grew up in Germany and you grew up in the States?
