Great discussion, Jabiz. I've kept from commenting much on the Iranian elections because I just don't know enough about the situation. I'm skeptical of both Ahmadinejad and Mousavi, and I don't think the movement will accomplish much if it is only interested in who won the election. It's just weak reformism, as you mentioned, and all that. On the other hand, if this becomes something bigger, namely overthrowing Khamenei, I'd say that would be real change. What do you think the chances of that are? (My own ignorant, Western take: Khamenei has put himself at major risk by refusing to give the people Mousavi.)
