the intensity
with which
so many brilliant people,
worldwide, educators
everyone one off them,
work to improve teaching
and learning for so many kids
across so many schools,
on every continent
is admirable and full of hope,
until you look around,
passed the mission statements,
visions and school values
and realise how little
we understand children, each other
or the world we’re trying to create.
who knew that peace and justice
would need this much work?
