weak limbed
burning eyed
soar necked
irritable bowled
down right exhausted
already on a tuesday-

went to the fancy gothic
bar and restaurant
for a few drinks and nibbles.
never letting the grind
get us down. the very acts
of our lives our poetry
even when we gently
nudge the simplest boundaries.
surrender has never been an option.
