It has been a while since I have created anything worth while, or otherwise. Been swamped with a high level of angst and stress, to the point where most of my life has been on hold. Yesterday, I was jamming around on the guitar and playing some songs for Skyelar and decided to record one to see what it would sound like. A few quick iMovie edits later and you have my little video below.
This has always been one of my favorite songs. I posted a Ben Harper/ Eddie Vedder version a few weeks ago and it has stayed on my mind. I don't see it as morose or depressing, but rather full of obstinate, idealistic hope, and determination. A few things I could really use right about now.
