Look at that! Not one Harry Potter book om the list! I have read twenty seven out of one hundred this time. So what have we learned through this little exercise? I like to read. I like to waste time playing little games that try to show-off how well-read I am, and really I am not that well-read.

  1. the problem is- i never read what the lists tell me i should read :) i have read a few books by some of the authors on the list but not those actual novels. so- it doesn't count :) i also read novels that aren't 'modern'- i love conan doyle and poe for example- so where does that leave me? :) and i have read the harry potter books. :) i can tell you that the first 2 were the best.

  2. Well you're more well-read than I am, regardless of which list serves as the bar! I do respect the latter list more though.
